Marvin Support — Privacy Policy

The Marvin Support app (“the app”) is provided by Happy Marvin for staff and
partner-school teachers to collect diagnostic reports from Happy Marvin devices and send them to
the Marvin Team.
What the app accesses
- Bluetooth — to find and connect to a nearby Happy Marvin device and
download its diagnostic report. The app does not use Bluetooth to determine
your location.
- Network / Internet — to upload the report to Happy Marvin’s servers.
What data is handled
- The app retrieves a diagnostic report from a Marvin device. This may contain
device identifiers, system logs, configuration, and (if the operator chooses to include them)
audio recordings captured by that device.
- The report is encrypted in transit and is sealed to Happy
Marvin’s support key.
- The app sends the report only to Happy Marvin. It is not
shared with other third parties and is not sold.
- The app does not collect personal information about the phone’s user beyond
what is needed to perform and log the transfer.
How the data is used
Solely to provide support and troubleshoot Happy Marvin devices.
Retention & deletion
Reports are retained by Happy Marvin only as long as needed for support, then deleted. To
request deletion of data associated with a device, contact us at the email below.
Children
The app is intended for adults (staff and teachers). It is not directed at children.
